Build A Poker Table

The main top is used as a game table and as a base for the poker tabletop. Begin by cutting the main top (H), main cleats (I), and short cleats (O) to size. Sand the parts smooth, and apply self-adhesive birch veneer edge tape to all four edges of the main top. Trim and sand the excess edge tape.

- Poker Table Leg and Column Patterns PDF When it came to building the poker table in this issue, we chose to use a pre-made pedestal base. But if you want to make the table out of a wood other than red oak, you might want to try making your own pedestal base. The patterns are available to download in this Online Extra.
- Almost all poker table construction begins with some form of plywood. – 1 to 3 Sheets are typically required, it depends on the table being made. The playing surface- Sometimes people substitute particleboard for this part of the table.
