Events
Due to circumstances surrounding COVID-19 protocols, our current operations are different than most years. We will update our status on the website and social media as things change.
We were not able to hold the Spring Poker Run on 6/9. This is a terrible blow to our fundraising efforts and we are bummed about it. If you would like to donate to RRMMC, you can easily do so here: https://www.paypal.me/rrmmc
We are hoping to still have the Fall Poker Run, currently scheduled for 9/13. As we get closer to the date, we will have a better idea about whether or not we can have it.
Our work parties are affectively on hold, with social distancing protocols and restrictions within the forest preventing these events for the time being. Please feel free to be good stewards out there on the trails and report any issues to info@rampartrange.orgor in the comments here.
Our FS rangers are operating on a skeleton crew right now, trying to tackle everything from enforcement and fire safety to downed trees from repeated wind events. Please be respectful and try not to be gross with the bathrooms.
There is a Stage 2 fire ban in affect. Unsure about that means? Read more here: https://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/stelprdb5371474.pdf
Devil’s Head hike is closed. Devil’s Head and Flatrocks developed campgrounds are closed. Dispersed camping is open.
